Acts 2:1-13

Pentecost is more than a dramatic moment in the life of the Church. It is part of a much larger story that stretches back to the Tower of Babel and God’s promise to Abraham. At Babel, humanity was divided and scattered. But at Pentecost, people from many nations hear the good news together as God begins restoring what sin had fractured.
Through the Holy Spirit, God forms one people from many nations and sends them into the world with one mission—to bear witness to Jesus Christ and become a blessing to the nations.
