Mel Wilhelm

Mel Wilhelm has served at Covenant for more than 30 years, faithfully investing his heart and energy into the life of the church. Over the decades, he has provided leadership in youth ministry, missions and outreach, and pastoral care. Today, as Associate Pastor, Mel continues to bring enthusiasm and a deep love for the Covenant family, helping to build and guide ministry across all areas of the church.

Outside of ministry, Mel and his wife Pat enjoy exploring hidden gem towns and discovering local restaurants throughout Southern Indiana and Kentucky.

Lesa Holdway

Ministry Assistant

If you call Covenant, chances are the first voice you’ll hear is Lesa Holdway’s. As Ministry Assistant, Lesa’s friendly spirit and caring heart keep the church and staff connected and organized. She coordinates events, takes prayer requests, and serves at the heart of Covenant’s communication, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Her genuine love for people shines through in every detail she manages.

When she’s not in the office at the church, Lesa enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and family, as well as sharing her musical gifts through singing and playing bells.

Valerie Keller

Music Ministry

Valerie Keller brings her musical gifts and deep love for Jesus to every aspect of Covenant’s worship. A gifted musician, she leads congregational singing, plays keyboard and piano, and directs the choir, praise team, bell choir, and children’s choir. Through her leadership, Val helps the church lift its heart to God in worship and experience the joy of praising Him together.

Outside of her ministry at Covenant, Val enjoys spending time in nature and with her husband Brian and their family.

Rose (Sephanie Rose)

Youth Ministry

Rose brings passion, energy, and joy to Covenant’s youth ministry. With a heart for teaching Scripture and a fun-loving spirit, she helps young people grow in their faith, celebrate life in Christ, and develop a love for others. Her creativity and care make youth gatherings a place where students feel encouraged, welcomed, and inspired to live out their faith.

When she’s not leading youth, Rose treasures time with her three sons, who keep her life just as lively outside the church as within it.

Sarah Biebighauser

Children's Ministry

Sarah Biebighauser loves kids and leads Covenant’s children’s ministry with creativity and joy. She is passionate about helping children learn about Jesus in ways that are fun, engaging, and memorable. From planning meaningful lessons to creating opportunities for kids to connect and live out their faith, Sarah is always finding fresh ways to point children toward Christ. She also excels at organizing and equipping volunteers who share her heart for kids.

When she’s not leading children’s ministry, Sarah assists with Covenant’s preschool, enjoys time with her family, supports Boy Scouts activities, and loves to spend time hiking outdoors.

Linda Estes

Preschool Director

Linda Estes is both the heart and the guiding hand behind Covenant Preschool. A gifted leader, she works alongside an excellent team of teachers and assistants to provide a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children are prepared academically, emotionally, and spiritually for kindergarten. Her love for kids and passion for their growth make her a vital part of Covenant’s ministry team.

Outside of the preschool, Linda enjoys relaxing by the pool, spending time with her family, and restoring the historic home on her family farm.

We count it a privilege to serve as staff and to walk alongside this church family. Yet we believe the true heart of ministry is not found in the offices or roles we hold, but in the people of Covenant who live out their faith daily—in their homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces. Together, we are the body of Christ, and it is through the Spirit working in all of us that ministry truly flourishes.
