These three invitations are how we pursue our mission of developing passionate spiritual disciples of Jesus who are confidently empowered to live out their faith and calling. They also express the rhythm of life we believe leads to a deep, vibrant faith and a transformed community.

We believe a passionate spiritual disciple [see below] begins with a heart rooted in worship. Worship draws us into the presence of God, anchors us in truth, and centers our lives around Christ. This is where intimacy with God begins and is renewed. - Grow Boldly
Spiritual growth isn’t passive. We believe Jesus calls us to grow in knowledge, character, and faithfulness—boldly stepping into the lifelong journey of becoming more like Him. This includes learning from Scripture, practicing spiritual disciplines, deep practice, and engaging in deep community.

Disciples of Jesus are not only called to follow—they are also sent with purpose. We believe every follower of Christ has a unique calling on their life, shaped by their gifts, experiences, and passions. At Covenant, we want to help people discover that calling and live it out in meaningful ways—serving others, loving neighbors, and sharing the hope of the gospel in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
This pathway helps us fulfill our vision of being the best church at caring for our communities by deploying passionate spiritual disciples of Jesus. We don’t just want to be a place people attend—we want to be a movement of disciples who bring the love of Christ to the places we live, work, and serve.
What Do We Mean by
"A Passionate Spiritual Disciple?"
At Covenant Church, we believe Jesus invites each of us into a life-changing journey of discipleship. When we say we want to be passionate spiritual disciples, we mean people who are wholeheartedly following Jesus—trusting Him, becoming like Him, and living out His mission in the world.
In Jesus’ time, a disciple didn’t just learn from a teacher—they followed closely, took on the teacher’s character, and learned to do what the teacher did. That’s the kind of discipleship we pursue.
