John 1:35-46

What if sharing your faith was less about having all the right answers and more about simply saying, come and see? In John chapter 1, we witness something remarkable: the very first disciples did not wait until they had years of theological training before they began pointing others to Jesus. Andrew met Jesus and immediately found his brother Peter. Philip encountered Jesus and immediately sought out Nathanael. These were ordinary people, fresh in their faith, yet already drawing others into the story. This passage reminds us that the gospel has always traveled through relationships, through the connections God has already placed in our lives. We are each the product of a long chain of people who were willing to speak up, invite a friend, or simply say, there is something here you need to see. The question this raises for us is not whether we know enough, but whether we are paying attention to the people already around us who are searching, burdened, or quietly open to something more.
