Covenant’s Hispanic ministry is building relationships and opening doors for ministry in LaGrange and Oldham County. Led by Pastors Hector and Yuneimy, this work is connecting with Hispanic families, sharing Christ’s love, and creating opportunities for people to grow together in faith.

The pastors are also assisting with Hispanic youth and children’s ministries at High Point, extending their care and presence among young people and their families.

Their first children’s event, here at Covenant, brought together 25 children and 12 accompanying adults—37 people in all! Games, activities, a bounce house, and food provided a welcoming setting for children to have fun and families to connect. Pastor Yuneimy described the gathering as a time of harmony and blessing, with God’s grace evident throughout the event.

One especially encouraging outcome was the connection with six parents who welcomed further contact and pastoral support. The pastors plan to follow up with these families, invite them to upcoming gatherings, and help them become connected within the congregation. Each connection offers an opportunity to listen, offer care, and walk alongside a family.

El Ministerio Hispano de Covenant está cultivando relaciones y abriendo puertas para el ministerio en LaGrange y el condado de Oldham. Bajo el liderazgo de los pastores Hector y Yuneimy, este ministerio está estableciendo vínculos con familias hispanas, compartiendo el amor de Cristo y creando oportunidades para crecer juntos en la fe.

Los pastores también están colaborando con los ministerios hispanos de jóvenes y niños en High Point, brindando apoyo y acompañamiento a los jóvenes y sus familias.

Su primer evento para niños, realizado aquí en Covenant, reunió a 25 niños y 12 adultos acompañantes: ¡37 personas en total! Los juegos, las actividades, un juego inflable para los niños y la comida crearon un ambiente acogedor donde los niños pudieron divertirse y las familias pudieron conocerse. La pastora Yuneimy describió el encuentro como un tiempo de armonía y bendición, en el que la gracia de Dios estuvo presente durante todo el evento.

Uno de los resultados más alentadores fue establecer contacto con seis padres de familia que expresaron su disposición a mantener la comunicación y recibir acompañamiento pastoral. Los pastores tienen previsto dar seguimiento a estas familias, invitarlas a próximos encuentros y ayudarlas a integrarse en la congregación. Cada vínculo ofrece una oportunidad para escuchar, brindar apoyo y caminar junto a una familia.
