A Season of Gratitude
November is often thought of as a season of Thanksgiving—and rightly so. There is so much to be thankful for! My heart first turns to Christ’s work on the cross, the gift of salvation, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives. These are the deepest reasons for our gratitude.
I am also deeply thankful for Covenant Church and the many ways we have seen God’s hand of blessing this past year. Our worship attendance has grown; new faces are visiting, attending, and joining our church family. God has provided for us even in the midst of challenges—flood damage, an aging building, and ongoing ministry needs. We’ve welcomed a new staff member to serve our youth, strengthened our outreach ministry, and continued to see a growing hunger among our people to learn and live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Truly, the Lord has been good to us.
As we move through this month, take a few moments to give thanks for the good things the Lord has done in and through Covenant Church. Gratitude not only reminds us of God’s faithfulness—it renews our joy and deepens our trust in Him for the days ahead.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever.”
— Psalm 107:1 (NRSV)

Celebrating Covenant's Heart for Missions
As we look back on this past year, our Mission Team is filled with deep gratitude for the generosity and faithfulness of our Covenant family. Because of your giving and your prayers, we have been able to share God’s love in tangible ways—both near and far.
This year, Covenant Church was able to send $3,000 each to support:
In addition, $1,000 was sent to Highpoint—a local partner serving our neighbors in need—and $1,000 to Hope Health Clinic, which provides medical care for those who might otherwise go without.
To help our congregation stay connected to each of these important ministries, the Mission Team has developed a new yearlong missions calendar. Each quarter, we’ll highlight specific mission partners and invite you to learn, pray, and participate in what God is doing through them:
Throughout the year, you’ll be hearing stories and updates about these ministries and how your support is making a difference.
Thank you, Covenant family, for giving, for praying, and for being a church that lives sent—sharing Christ’s love across the street and around the world.
“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.”
— Psalm 96:3
