Incarnation

As we approach Christmas, we are reminded of the heart of the season: the incarnation of Jesus Christ. God became flesh and dwelled among us (John 1:14), bringing love, joy, peace, and hope into our broken world. Through His birth, life, death, and resurrection, Jesus showed us the fullness of God’s love and invited us to carry that love into the world.

This holiday season, let us embody the presence of Jesus. As we gather with family, shop for gifts, and celebrate with friends, may our words and actions reflect His love to those around us. Let His joy shine in our interactions, His peace calm our hearts, and His hope radiate to those who need it most.

Covenant Church is committed to helping one another live out this call. Whether through worship, serving those in need, or simply being a source of encouragement, we are the hands and feet of Christ. Let’s show our community what it means to carry the light of the incarnation into every corner of life.

This Christmas, may we not only celebrate the birth of Christ but also share His presence with a world longing for His hope. Together, let’s make this a season where His love is seen and felt in powerful ways.

Merry Christmas!

Find Peace in His Presence: Christmas Prayer Vigil

This Christmas season, amidst the hustle and bustle, take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and spend time in the stillness of God’s presence. On Saturday, December 14, we invite you to our Prayer Vigil in the sanctuary, open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The sanctuary will be prepared as a sacred space for you to meet with the Lord. The altar will be adorned with candles and reflective reading materials to guide and inspire your prayers. In the quietness of His house, you’ll find a rare and beautiful opportunity to be fully alone with Him—free from distractions, fully embraced by His peace.

Whether you come for 30 minutes or an hour, this is a chance to reconnect with the One who brings true rest and joy to our lives.

Sign up in the church lobby to reserve your time. Let this be a moment to pause, reflect, and draw near to the heart of God during this holy season. Come, and let the peace of Christ fill your soul.

Join Us for a Beautiful Christmas Eve Worship Experience

This Christmas Eve, we warmly invite you to experience the beauty and wonder of the season as we celebrate the birth of Christ together. Covenant Church will hold two special candlelight services on Tuesday, December 24, at 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM, and we would love for you to be part of this meaningful time of worship.

Both services will feature inspiring music, a heartfelt message, Holy Communion, and a beautiful candlelight moment to reflect on the light of Christ entering our world. The 5:00 service will have a special time just for the kids.  These gatherings are a wonderful way to center your heart on the true meaning of Christmas.

We also encourage you to think about friends, neighbors, or family members who may not have a church home. This is the perfect opportunity to invite them to experience the joy and hope of Christmas in a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. A simple invitation can make all the difference in someone’s life this holiday season.

Let’s come together to celebrate the birth of our Savior and share His love with others. We can’t wait to see you there!
